The first vessel built to this JMC design was constructed at Tri-Star Marine, Seattle, WA. This design was adapted from our 114′ x 38′ House Aft Crabber design, with lengthened lines and modified arrangements. The vessel will fish for crab in the Bering Sea, and has the ability to adapt for other fisheries such as long lining and tendering with the addition of RSW machinery. The basic design could be lengthened or shortened with very few modifications.
