The 58' x 24' Seiner is the largest of the JMC 58' Limit Seiners. It's 3,225 cubic foot hold capacity is the largest in the limit seiner fleet. The initial vessel, F/V Infinity, was completed at Van Peer Welding and Fabrication in September of 1995.

The 58' vessel has evolved over the years to fill requirements for salmon and herring seining in Alaska, fitting within the length limitation of 58 feet. The modern JMC designs range in beam from 19 to 24 feet, vary in depth from 8'-9" to 12'-0", and have a range of fish hold capacity from 1,600 to 3,225 cubic feet. While designed for seining, a number of the vessels operate in other fisheries, including trawling, crabbing, and long lining. These powerful little vessels are reputed to be fine sea boats, and fit large capacity into a small package. Other breadths available include 23', 22', & 19'.
