Successful candidates will be responsible for vessel design and a
variety of naval architecture and marine engineering tasks. Candidates
should be motivated and be able to work on their own as well as in
project groups. Also, must be able to multi-task on several major
projects simultaneously.
Qualifications
This position requires a B.S. in Naval Architecture/Marine Engineering or equivalent degree, and 0-2 year industry experience working in the marine field. Candidates should have experience with classification rules, hull structures, specialized component structure and foundations, stability, project management. Candidate must be proficient in use of ABS/DnV Classification Rules, AutoCAD, GHS, Excel and Word. Experience with ShipConstructor, Finite Element Analysis (Algor) and NavCad Power Prediction software a plus, as is E.I.T. certificate.
U.S. citizenship is required.
