Successful candidates will be responsible for a wide range of marine drafting and simple design tasks related to vessel and system design. Candidates will work closely with lead engineers in developing drawings and diagrams related to vessel structures, piping and other mechanical systems. Candidates must be self-motivated.
Qualifications
This position requires an A.A. degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Industrial Drafting or other related degree, plus one to three years experience in the marine industry. U.S. citizenship is required. New graduates may also be considered.
Must be familiar with computer software including Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and Rhino. Experience with ShipConstructor would also be desirable.
